YEAR 10 SPANISH LINGUISTS VISIT VIVA FILM FESTIVAL

 

 

 

During March a group of year 10 spanish linguists had the opportunity to attend the popular Viva Film Festival at the Cornerhouse Theatre in Manchester. They watched the animated film "Pequeñas Voces" which dealt with violence and corruption in Colombia. This was followed by a useful study session focusing on characters and film plot. Continuing the spanish theme we then headed to La Tasca in Didsbury for a tapas lunch. All pupils had a great day, learnt lots and were excellent ambassadors for Parrs Wood.
