PARRS WOOD STAFF GET IN GEAR TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY!

This video is of the 'Spin-a-thon' event which took place before Easter.

The aim was to raise money for the 'When you wish upon a star' charity, raising funds to grant a wish for a local sick child. A group of our pupils were part of the 'wish project' committee and they helped with the planning and organising of the Spin-a-thon event. 66 teachers and support staff took part, and they were sponsored by our pupils/family/friends and colleagues. We made a target of £500 and actually have raised close to £900!! The video is a little high-light of the event, and hopefully reminds everyone of the great atmosphere, the teachers/staff took part in exactly the right spirit of fun but also worked really hard too!

Our next event will be a football tournament in school involving both pupils and staff!
