YEAR 9 ROUNDERS TEAM ARE MANCHESTER CHAMPIONS!

I am proud to inform you that last night (Tue 3rd July), Parrs Wood Year 9 rounders team were victorious in their finals game against Wright Robinson to make them Manchester Champions. Parrs Wood Year 9 team were undefeated in ALL their tournament games, placing them in the semi finals where they beat Manchester High School for Girls and Wright Robinson in the final. The unbeatable force of Babita Dey and Iqra Tanvir as our fierce backstop and 1st base combo lead to all 9 of Wright Robinson's team caught/stumped out before the second innings could finish! Katie Hubert's ability to place the ball backhand and Jade Trevors tactical running lead to numerous half and full rounders putting pressure on Wright Robinson's fielding team.

Congratulations to all Year 9: Chelsey Brown (Captain), Mimi Booth, Jade Trevor, Katie Hibbert, Babita Dey, Iqra Tanvir, Demi Coley, Olivia Hingley, Tiegan O'Kine, Olivia Bradford. I'm very proud of you.
