PW UP-AND-COMING DEBATeRS GET OFF TO A BRILLIANT START!

On Friday April 27th, Parrs Wood participated in the final DebateMate Competition at the University of Manchester. Parrs Wood was represented by eight Year 7s and 8s: Joel, Asfand, Sam, Amy, Jenny, Cole, Abid and Lewis.

They were the youngest debaters in the whole competition and impressed all the judges and the university mentors.

Throughout the year, they have performed ten competitive debates and won 2 out of the 3 rounds on Finals Day. They are to be commended on their passion, skills progression and dedication! Well done!
