Parrs Wood High School is situated in the Manchester suburb of Didsbury, close to the city centre and also to Stockport and the M60 and M56. There is a direct train link to the City Centre and the Airport and is on the busy 42 bus route.
Didsbury was built by wealthy merchants in the 1800's and a number of large houses and buildings remain with some of the highest priced houses in the city.
The catchment area for the school extends in a radius of approximately 1.5 miles covering parts of Burnage and Withington.
