MATHS EQUIPMENT |

YEAR 9
This is a key year with all pupils sitting their National SAT exams in May.
Setting:
Students remain in the sets that they are in from Year 8. Movement between sets can take place at any point in the year if a student is working at a level above or below the rest of the class. This decision is made by the class teacher on the basis of classworks, homeworks and test results.
Equipment:
All students should bring a calculator, ruler, compass and protractor to school in addition to the standard equipment needed.
Assessment:
Formal assessments will take place throughout the year which will inform students of the level that they are currently working at.
