PARRS WOOD PUPILS WOW JUDGES AND WIN THE YAMAHA JAZZ EXPERIENCE COMPETITION 2012
Talented pupils Ruairi Leonard (Year 11), Lucian Thomas (Year 11), Dara Leonard (Year 10) and Sarah Leonard (Year 10) performed in this competitive final as part of the Cheltenham Jazz Festival. They wowed the prestigious judges with their improvising, musicianship and superbly entertaining performances of ‘Summertime’ and ‘Georgia on My Mind’ and have become the best jazz ensemble in the UK for their age.....
