Parrs Wood High School and Sixth Form Centre is a specialist Technology College educating young people between the ages of 11 and 19 years in South Manchester.
We are proud to have been awarded specialist status in Technology by the Specialist Schools Trust in recognition of our vision for integrating Technology across the school. We are also proud to achieve the International School Award for the second time in recognition of the international activities, links and visits we provide. These awards will enhance the breadth of educational provision we can offer our pupils and students.

'Stars of the Week' 5th February 2010
including a group of Sixth Form girls who raised £380 for the Haiti Appeal by organising a 'Pyjama day' in the Common Room. Well done girls!

I would like to inform parents, pupils and students that the school will be inspected next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is the final inspection following our five previous monitoring visits.
The staff and pupils have worked extremely hard to improve and to rise to the challenges and we look forward to your support in making this a successful outcome for the school. This has been a long process for the school and we realise it has been difficult for parents and pupils as well as staff.

PARRS WOOD DANCE SHOW
Wednesday 10th February, 7pm in Main Hall
For one night only students from all years will be showcasing their talents and choreography skills, so please come and support the event.
Tickets are now on sale from the dance studio,
£3 adults £2 concessions. Last year we had to turn people away so get your tickets early. |
